More Ideas On Protecting Your Intellectual Property Online
Scott Simmerman wrote to me after publishing my three-part series on “Protecting Your Intellectual Property Online.” Scott sent in some further ideas on helping to preserve your copyright online…
Nancy -
Since lots of us have CD burners, instead of printing massive quantities of paper you could simply put it on a CD. You cans end it to someone, etc. These permanent CD images are apparently acceptable for insurance and other record keeping purposes these days. Maybe do a “Time stamp” off the official atomic clock.
Another “saving possibility” is to compress the entire site and save it on the same server as a “backup” and an archive and would be dated by the server software, thus having a compression date on it
Keep up the good work,
